We are a well established working farm set in a beautiful location in a rural position with sea views. We are dog friendly, and offer a wonderful, unique family Glamping experience.

We are Maddy and Adrian, we have farmed at Boswarthen Farm for over 30 years, at first with Adrian’s parents.Whilst holidaying with our Elliott and Alex, our two boys (now all grown up) in the past, we felt that there was always two ends of the spectrum – either holiday home rental or camping. Whilst we enjoyed camping and the outdoors, we missed the comfort of a proper bed, disliked having to walk so far for the toilet (especially in the night) and when it rained we needed some space.
Here at Boswarthen, we thought that we could offer something in the middle – the love of the outdoors and being close to nature but along with those luxuries to ensure your holiday is as special, comfortable and relaxing as possible, so in 2007 we had 5 tents delivered from Feather Down Farm Days, that’s when we became pioneers and where our story began... |
|
Ten years ago, after increasing Feather Down's tents to eleven, we made the decision that could offer better accommodation and purchased our own tents. We added a few extras to make your stay even better and we can even boast a 2 storey tent (the only one in Cornwall at present) that sleeps 8, along with a gypsy caravan and bell tent which sleeps 4 and a further 5 safari tents (each sleeping 6).
There is a very sociable, relaxed and interactive atmosphere here at Boswarthen Farm Glamping and the children are able to experience the everyday working of the farm, meet some of our feathered and furry residents, collect egg's from the big coop in the field and sometimes even see calves being born. Currently we have 2 sheep, Harry and Hermione which roam the campsite by day and are very friendly. Coops can be hired so the children can collect their eggs from their very own chickens and have them for breakfast! Away from the Ipads and electronic games your children can play safely in a car free field with new found friends. The whole family can enjoy a digital detox , away from the constant media intrusion. |

There is a farm honesty shop here in our farmyard with most products being sourced locally - breakfast boxes and bbq packs can be purchased here also.
Cooking and eating are both sociable and enjoyable with our pizza/lasagne nights proving a great hit with our regulars and new guests. You order, Maddy makes and Adrian cooks in the big wood fired oven, followed by a campfire and socialising for everyone. Each accommodation has a bbq/firepit and we also hire a stewpot on a tripod, where the stew is cooked over a fire. Whether you participate in the farm group nights for your al fresco dining experience or cook your own meals , it seems to taste so much better with a fire involved! Our mini farm tour involves meeting the calves, learning about our cows and how we made the transition from dairy to beef, what we grow and why. Maddy is always around to answer any questions, whether that is about the farm, tents or area. Hospitality is what it is all about! So if you are looking for a fun filled, personal, educational and luxury camping holiday then we would love to welcome you here at Boswarthen Farm Glamping where you can tailor your holiday to maximise your personal experience. |
